Introduction
The Book of Forest Adventure is a series of free outdoor activities designed for children aged 5–12. Each adventure transforms the participants into members of the Adventurers’ Guild, a fellowship of young explorers. Equipped with a personal adventure book, children embark on missions to explore the forest, collect mysterious runes, sketch, tell stories, and weave their own narratives. By the end, their adventure book becomes a unique creation they can treasure and share with friends and family.
Overview
Every Forest Adventure begins with the story of the Adventurers’ Guild. Each child steps into the role of an adventurer, donning a cape, carrying their own book, and setting out to search for hidden runes scattered throughout the forest. Along the way, they encounter intriguing spaces and objects, take notes, and work together as a team. Their quest is to discover all 15 runes, decipher their symbols, and unlock the mystery of their meaning.
Review
The very first Forest Adventure was both exciting and challenging. At first, spotting the well-camouflaged runes proved difficult, but as the adventurers worked together and trained their eyes, they quickly became skilled at uncovering hidden details. One adventurer was entrusted with guarding the runes on behalf of the team. The final challenge was the greatest mystery of all: interpreting the symbols carved on the runes. Were they remnants of a forgotten language? Did the symbols connect with one another to tell a larger story?
Theories blossomed as the adventurers debated and shared their ideas. In the end, the adventure wasn’t just about solving the mystery—it was about creativity, teamwork, and the thrill of discovery.
