Join us on an exciting adventure with shadows, giants, and a brave girl!
Guldgurka och Jätten (Golden Cucumber and the Giant) is a shadow theater performance based on a traditional Indonesian folk tale, told with light, silhouettes, and handmade puppets. The story is about a girl who is born from a magical cucumber and must save herself from a scary giant. With the help of her mother and magical objects, she tries to escape from the giant who is chasing her.
The performance is about 20 minutes long and is followed by a 1.5-hour workshop where children can create their own shadow puppets and try playing with shadows themselves.
The performance is aimed at families and the workshop is best suited for children 7 years old and above.
